480 Hi-Res Waterproof Helmet Cameras
These helmet cameras comes with a very respectable 480 lines of resolution. The camera housing is only 19mm in diameter compared to 21mm on our other models. It accepts many different lenses allowing for multiple fields of view. There is also a replaceable glass lens cover that protects the lens from flying debris. And of course, it has a quick-disconnect waterproof connector for easy removal or adjustments.
EZ-Connect Cable System
The cable design adds the ability to connect our helmet cameras directly to compatible camcorders. It incorporates small IP68 rated waterproof screw-tight connectors at strategic locations simplifying cable management. By simply adding an available extension cable in between the camera and recorder you can easily extend the length to accommodate any body worn or on-board vehicle application on land or sea. It includes a detachable microphone that can be routed away from the wind. The package comes standard with the 1.25 meter (4.1ft.) extension and longer extensions up to 6 meters (20ft.) are available. Our advanced design is just one more reason why Sportzshot helmet cameras are the right choice.

Versatile Mounting System
The Sportzshot patent pending PVS-MOUNT-PRO goggle/helmet mount is designed to mount to smooth surfaces or attach to webbing or straps such as a goggle strap. Either mounting option provides a very stable platform. The goggle mount is based around a flexible yet semi-rigid platform that makes it the most stable goggle mount on the market. This mount has been used in the most demanding environments and has always performed well and proven to be very versatile. You won't find this mount anywhere else! Again, do your homework... all helmet camera mounts are not created equal.
Rechargeable Battery Pack
The Sportzshot battery pack will power your helmet camera for over 10hrs at normal room temperature. It's lightweight and slim design allow it to stow away nicely in a pack or pocket. It connects directly into the cable and powers both the camera and mic simultaneously. You'll find most competitors only offer their premium battery pack for an additional charge. This comes standard with all our helmet cameras.
Digital Video Recorder
Records high quality video directly to an SD memory card. There are no moving parts so it is not effected by vibrations. Small, lightweight and very easy to work with. Simply plug in the helmet cam, turn on, and press record. It's that easy! Using a 4gb SD card you can get over 2hrs of video. Video can be reviewed on the built-in screen or a TV. You can also connect it to a computer for editing and emailing.
That's not all! The DVR also has a built in lens and works as a standalone camcorder, an mp3 player, and can recorder directly from your TV.
