Hi-Resolution Video Imaging

This helmet cam comes with the Sony Ex-View 1/3" CCD image device delivering crisp imagery, excellent color reproduction, and quality optics with an outstanding 580 lines of resolution. It has excellent low light capabilities and the electronic iris adjusts quickly to changing light conditions. It accepts many different lenses allowing for multiple fields of view. There is also a replaceable protective glass lens cover so don't worry about flying debris.

Flexible Mounting

The Sportzshot PVS-MOUNT-PRO goggle/helmet mount is designed to mount to smooth surfaces like helmets or attach to webbing and straps such as a goggle strap. Either mounting option provides a very stable platform. The goggle mount is based around a flexible yet semi-rigid platform that makes it the most stable goggle mount on the market. This mount has been used in the most demanding environments and has always performed well and proven to be very versatile. You won't find this mount anywhere else! Again, do your homework... all helmet cam mounts are not created equal.

High Capacity Battery Pack

The Sportzshot battery pack will power your helmet cam for over 8hrs at normal room temperature. It's lightweight and slim design allow it to stow away nicely in a pack or pocket. It connects directly into the cable and powers both the camera and mic simultaneously. It's important to have a lot of capacity to get you through the day, especially in cold environments. Features - DVR-1HD

Easy to Use Digital Video Recorder / HD Camcorder

Records high quality video directly to an SD memory card. There are no moving parts so it is not effected by vibrations. Small, lightweight and very easy to work with. Simply plug in the helmet cam, turn on, and press record. It's that easy! Using a 4gb SD card you can get over 2hrs of video and a whopping 16hrs with a 32gb SD card.. Review the video on the built-in 2.4" screen or connect to your TV for better viewing.

That's not all! The DVR also has a built in lens and works as
a standalone HD camcorder, 8 mega pixel digital camera w/ macro, mp3 player, and can record hi quality video directly from your TV and other video devices. Includes remote control. Note: The DVR-1HD can only record in HD when using it's own built-in lens.

Video Editing & Distribution

Connect the DVR to your computer for charging and editing. The video is captured at 720 x 480 using MPEG-4 standard compression which is compatible with all video editing software. The DVR's expansion slot accomodates up to 32gb SDHC Class 6 memory cards. Class 6 SD memory cards have fast write speeds which is important for capturing high speed action video.

PVS-SPORTZPAK POV Action Harness

This specially designed harness will keep your POV setup organized and in check. With buckles at each corner the POV Action Harness can be easily strapped to anything. Or just shove it in your pack and go! The included straps also work as a chest harness.
It will securely hold most any size recorder from large mini DV camcorders to small digital video recorders. Features a mesh backing for excellent breathability and a zip pouch to hold your sport camera when not in use. Battery pack pouch can also accommodate a cell phone or heat pack. PVS-6BAT - NiMH Rechargeable Battery Pack

The Sportzshot rechargeable battery pack will power your helmet cam for over 8 hours... and that number is being conservative. The pack is designed with extra abrasion padding and short-cicuit protection. It's one connection point plugs into the EZ-Connect cable and powers both the helmet cam and microphone. It's slim design and relatively lightweight make it easy to stow away next to your recorder. This battery pack comes standard with all our PVS-PRO packages.

Weighs only 7.7 ounces. Dimensions are 4" L x 2.25" W x 0.5" T
